I started dreaming that dream must never end
As long as we’re here we may as well pretend
We’ve been dreaming
Straight from the heart.

Did not say it’s easy but who’s to say
That we won’t be able to make it that way
Make it easier
Because it comes straight from the heart.

You gave it to us straight from the heart
Told us we can make new start
Now I know we’ll never go – as long as we know
You’re speaking straight from the heart.

I see you on the stage at this momentous time
And all my fears simply fall outta line
We won’t stop dreaming
The dream is coming straight from the heart.

You gave it to us straight from the start
Speaking ideals that inspire the heart
You’ve got to know is we’ll never go – as long as we know
You’re speaking straight from the heart.
