[/media-credit]Contemplating
Blankness stares back
Anticipation of a few words
They arrive, but late
Tenderness fulfills the void
Words in motion speed the beat
Confusion is nowhere near
Warmth spreads quickly
Understanding the moment
Relaxing, too soon
Reverberation of a damaged heart deafens all
Forgiveness hasn’t been let go
Remnants of loss remain
My essence draws in and repels
Alone is the position that fits all
Who I am, will be and can become
