Sweet Cher, I am so intrigued here :) I can only join the others by saying "I want a book by Cher Duncombe on my shelf". But I do realize it takes a lot of strength to re-live the past through words again. You know when to write it when the time is right...the readers will be there!! You have many gifts and storytelling is definitely one of them. I will seriously have a shelf with all the books my friends wrote ^_^ Such a pretty shelf it is going to be! xoxo <3

Jen, thank you for getting into it! It was one of those investigations that went along the way it should and had a proper ending, the way you want them all to turn out. Not all do. But I became emotionally invested in this one. I didn't allow that to surface but once the investigation was over, I literally felt weak-kneed. I have a photo they took of me with the hierarchy at HQ. Believe me when I tell you, I look as sick as I felt.

Thanks, my Jenny, Jen, Jen. ;)

I'm with Garry! You've led such a colorful life. I imagine it turning in to the type of book that people pick up, and can't put down.

The imagery in this is amazing. I was really "in" the story!

Thanks, Garry. Yes, it is all autobiographical and what a strange ride it has been. If you didn't live so far away, I would ask you to ghost-write the entire thing for me. I really don't think I have the emotional energy for it. Well, give it some thought. You never know... ;)
