I am so disheartened by what is going on in our country today, and I feel powerless. I have friends who are voting for these guys and they just won’t listen. The power of religion is insane and because the religious right is aligned with the republican party there is no talking sense to them. It’s frightening. What you said is so true…they are trying to make laws for everyone based on their religious beliefs. There is no attack on religious freedom by mandating birth control, they don’t have to use it if they don’t believe in it, but to try and take it away from us is an attack. I fear that this will eventually end in bloodshed and another Civil War. Some days I question whether or not I want to live in this country anymore? Great article. You are always articulate and spot on. :)
