Interview of Filmmaker Walter Shaw On The Unknowns

Author Lillian Taylor interviews reformed notorious jewel thief turned filmmaker Walter Shaw on this latest film, The Unknowns. Focusing of themes around rising from adversity, Shaw shares with Taylor the story of his now famous inventor father, Walter L. Shaw’s, lifelong challenges, the struggles around making a film, and what inspired him to tell the story of The Unknowns.

Also know as the Highwayman, The Unknown tells the true story about 26 black painters who triumphed over extreme poverty, racism, violence, rejection and even murder through their anonymous work as oil painters.
