Boundless greed continues on Wall Street
everything they can to earn our forgiveness… here in Simi Valley one large bank is again adding insult to injury. JPMorgan Chase is flaunting its wealth and power in the face of continuing foreclosures by building yet another Chase bank in Simi Valley.
Let me give you a little background… Simi Valley is only 42 square miles total and we have a population of about 125,522. That’s not very big and we have 5 Chase bank branches already and 6 separate ATM locations as well. We could easily suffice with 3, one at each end of town and one in the middle, but Chase has decided we need a 6th branch location.
I mean come on… this is over kill.
I also take exception to the location they chose for this new branch. It is a major route home for commuters and people stopping to turn in right there will definitely cause some drama to the heavy flow of traffic in my opinion. I wonder if our city council even considered this or were they simply blinded by the dollar signs? I can only imagine the cost of this construction and it makes me ill. Our hard earned tax dollar bailout being wasted on shoving yet more bank facilities down our throats! So I urge you to hit these banks the only place it hurts, their bottom line. Take your business elsewhere; don’t let them use your own dollars against you. No one should be complaining about the collapse of our economy if they are continuing to bank with one of the 5 big banks that caused it. We need more local credit unions not big corrupt corporate Wall Street banks!
