An interview with God: Part One
Welcome to The TAZ Zone! Your leader in online facts and controversy. Today we interview the very popular World icon known by many names, by many religions and cultures, but primarily as the generic term ‘ God ‘.
Episode: An interview with God: Part One: where art thou?
( This interview took place at an undisclosed location at the request of God )
TAZ: God, you’ve been around a very long time.
God: Yes, a very long time!
TAZ: And on occasion people throughout history have reported seeing you, in one form or another, or claim to have heard you speak to them?
God: Yes. I have , on occasion spoken to, or revealed myself, in some manner, to certain people.
TAZ: Why is it you do not real yourself to everyone? Would that not affirm people’s faith, and prevent the horrors that people inflict?
God: Yes, revealing myself to everyone might validate people’s faith and stop people from doing wrong things. But it would impede Free Will.
TAZ: Free Will to act upon those impulses?
God: Yes.
TAZ: So you subscribe to the notion that a rapist should be allowed to act upon those impulses in order to maintain Free Will?
God: No.
TAZ: Then it would seem that it would be advantageous to reveal yourself to everyone?
God: Yes, it would seem that way. However, if I was to reveal myself, those who would commit atrocities would only pretend to be good to earn my favor.
TAZ: Is it not true that you can read people’s souls or spirits and are able to judge a man’s heart?
God: Yes!
TAZ: Then those pretending to be good would not be able to betray what’s in their hearts?
God: True.
TAZ: They would still be bad people. They would just be reluctant to act upon those impulses because of the knowledge of your existence?
God: Yes.
TAZ: So the World would actually benefit from you revealing yourself to everyone. Because people would be less inclined to act upon those ‘ evil ‘ impulses, and the good would be less apt to become the victims of those impulses?
And because you know every man’s heart, you would still know which are good and which are just pretending to be?
God: Yes, I suppose.
TAZ: So, in light of this, is there a reason you refuse to reveal yourself to mankind?
God: I suppose there wouldn’t be.
TAZ: Can we expect you to reveal yourself in the near future?
God: No.
TAZ: And why might that be? Considering we have established that you do not need to hide yourself from mankind.
God: There is a simple explanation.
TAZ: Please enlighten me God!
God: Because I do not exist.
TAZ: Thank-you for your time God, it was great talking to you!
( Part Two…coming sometime…ask God

Hi EG.
Why take time to write articles about entities you don’t believe exist?
Hi Jayme! I never said I don’t believe an entity exists.
I was just disputing, in a tongue-in-cheek manner, the reasons/excuses people use to justify why that entity refuses to reveal itself.
Oh, I believe in God :]
…One way I see he has revealed himself is through his creation.
Well I don’t want to dispute or diminish your personal beliefs…I don’t see any harm in a person believing in a personal deity. I do however see harm in the collective belief.
I don’t engage one-on-one personal discussions of this nature outside of a proper debate forum, where people expect to have their beliefs dissected and exposed.
So…suffice it to say we agree to disagree
We might agree that there are many beliefs that can be harmful, religious and other.
Hope you have a great holiday! See you around :]
