I looked several times in today’s news, for funny happy up lifting stories. But found nothing that made me want to smile. I’ll bet there were as many happy notes as sad. That could have taken the place of the re runs. I knew yesterday about the stage falling and probably so did you? But there it was, the same story near the top again. It’s easy to get overloaded.
Maybe we should read the comics ? But then again who wants to read about politicians all the time?
A few random head lines to cheer up your day. I looked and looked and looked some more, actually I just ran the list down the Internet news source and these headlines popped out randomly, grabbing me my emotionally fragile working middle class American self that I am. Actually the middle class looks like the Rich and Famous from where I sit. But for whatever reason these got my attention, all I near the top , and not one little happy note, or it was so buried in misery it wouldn’t be seen. And then it happened! and it’s number 7. I up graded it, it was actually some where near the bottom of a very long list of suicide bombers, killing sprees and various lunatics. as well as more violent articles.

Some of you may read this weeks later than when these “where” the head lines, it’ll be interesting to see how much has changed. Maybe the Chinese will let the women come home?( little wee little humor) Maybe next time, we could load up our rockets with everything that said ” Made in China” and send it back. I wonder, could we get it off the ground?

Dan -- I ignore so many news sources for this very reason -- it’s negative. This was a great look into our world for me without making me go all weepy….and I LOVE the Beatles

I agree, about a half hour of news a day or some quick glances at the internet news and that’s enough for me. And if you actually were to break down the news that’s important and that you haven’t heard for the last three days, there really isn’t much left over. And the Beatles where a once only never to come again time.
